As the fitness companies on planet Mir teach the physical components of the discipline without addressing much ever about the business of fitness itself, Shiva’s lessons come mostly all first-hand, including what “playing the game” and “paying her dues” mean.

Shiva will learn lessons in one of the most competitive, personality-driven, and stress-inducing of service industries on her planet, ironically—and paradoxically—all while working within the framework of a career whose outer pretext is fitness and wellness, contributing to her planet’s overall good.

As we follow her journey from innocence to experience, we shall see the drama of her fitness industry unfold. Perhaps some of Shiva’s stories will both spare and enlighten current and future fitness professionals across all galaxies operating in such fascinating environments as Mir.
